Library/Study Hall Supervisor

Michigan Lutheran Seminary is seeking a Library/Study Hall Supervisor to help foster a welcoming environment that encourages study, learning, and academic success. This role is responsible for maintaining the organization and daily operation of the library, supervising study hall periods, assisting students and staff with library resources, and ensuring the space remains clean, orderly, and conducive to productive work. The position also includes checking materials in and out, communicating study hall concerns as needed, and supporting other departmental needs throughout the school year. Successful candidates will possess strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable working with students, faculty, and staff, and have familiarity with Google Suite programs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Evening Part Time Custodian

Michigan Lutheran Seminary is seeking an Evening Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for cleaning assigned areas, performing deep cleaning of common spaces and restrooms, completing janitorial work orders, and assisting with event setup and teardown as needed. Additional responsibilities include identifying and reporting maintenance concerns, preparing facilities for evening and weekend activities, and supporting seasonal campus needs such as snow removal and grounds cleanup. Ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Previous janitorial or maintenance experience is preferred.

Food Service Worker

Michigan Lutheran Seminary is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our dining services team and help provide nutritious meals in a welcoming and caring environment. This position assists with meal preparation and service, operates food preparation equipment, maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas, and supports inventory and departmental needs. Additional responsibilities may include preparing travel meals, assisting with meals for ill or absent students, and reporting equipment or facility maintenance concerns. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation. Previous food service experience is beneficial but not required, and opportunities for additional training, including ServSafe certification, may be available.
