Cardinal for a Day

Last year, over 250 grade schoolers from 1 to 8 grade came to MLS for a day of fun, learning, and Christian fellowship. The day was a huge hit! The grade schoolers got to meet our high school students as well as students from other WELS grade schools. They loved it and so did our students. So, this year, we decided to do it again and open it up to more schools.

What exactly is "Cardinal for a Day"?
From 9-1:00, grade school students get to experience what MLS is like through their own eyes. When students arrive, they are placed in groups with other kids their age. These groups then travel to different stations around campus. Depending on their age, they might receive an art lesson, conduct a science lab, do a writing activity, or head to the gym to play with our student athletes. There are also opportunities for spiritual growth, as all students will be taught a Bible lesson by an MLS student. Then, at the end of the day, we'll join together for a chapel service in which the students will sing the song they learned during choir time. The day ends with a pizza lunch.
