We would love to have you join us, but if you can't we have arranged for two alternate bidding processes.

Sealed bid procedure

Remote bids are possible. We ask that you let us know which item you are interested in and we will email you more detailed information on that item (description, starting bid, etc.). If you are still interested in the item, you would make your bid on that item by email or phone no later than Friday, February 22 at 3:00pm EST. The bid with your name, phone number, address and bid amount would be sealed and taken to the auction. the sealed bid would not be opened until the auction had concluded. At that time it would then be compared to the highest bid on the item. If at the conclusion of the bidding it is the winning bid, you would be notified after the auction. If at the conclusion of bidding your bid has been tied by a bidder present at the silent auction, that person at the auction will have the option to outbid you, so make sure that the bid you place is your top offer. in the event of identical sealed bids being the winning bid, the one received first will be the winner. This bid requires a credit card number to hold the item should you win. Your credit card would not be charged unless you are the winner of the item.

Proxy bid procedure

You may arrange for a dinner attendee to proxy bid on your behalf. Such arrangements are your own responsibility. For ethical reasons, this individual cannot be a Foundation Staff member.
