MLS Graduates 59
MLS graduates 59 seniors this morning. The class has distinguished itself in preparation for music in the Church, with 20 of the seniors having learned already to play the organ. The class valedictorian, Caitlin Keller of Adrian, MI, plans to attend MLC next year in the teacher track. The class salutatorian, ELS student Sarah Webber of Scottsdale, AZ, plans to study education at Bethany Lutheran College (ELS) in Mankato, MN. The highest-ranking boy, Aaron Voss of Williamston, MI, plans to attend MLC next year in the pastor track. The class of 2007 has chosen "If God Himself Be for Me" by Paul Gerhardt (CW 419) as their class hymn, and Psalm 118:8 as their graduation verse: "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man."
