Dean Post Update - February 7, 2012

After my positive report to you about Dean Susan Post yesterday, I am sorry to report that Dean Post had a serious set-back last night. 

About midnight she suffered a cardiac arrest. The hospital personnel were able to resuscitate her. Dean Post is now in the cardiac care unit of Covenant Hospital and not able to receive visitors at this time.

Our morning chapel service today included another prayer on Dean Post’s behalf. During her long hospitalization, Dean Post frequently has expressed her confidence that her health is in God’s hands. She said this again yesterday. She is thankful to have been brought to the Christian faith and kept in that faith through God’s Word and the sacraments. She has confidence in God’s promises and care, as well as his plans for her. Please include petitions on Dean Post’s behalf in your daily prayers.
