Teens for Life ...more

MLS Teens for Life is a service organization with the purpose of educating students and faculty within MLS and beyond on the value and sanctity of life. We are concerned with all life issues including the stem cell controversy, cloning, chastity, abortion, infanticide, suicide, and euthanasia. In addition, we offer opportunities to discuss - in the light of God's Word - many of the underlying factors in the life issues listed previously: self-esteem (Christ esteem), human sexuality, the influence of social ties with peers and adults, and family matters (divorce, foster care, adoption).

Sight & Sound

The members of Sight and Sound meet only a few times each year, but they function year-round. The commitment does not require a great deal of time. The level of "knowledge" depends on your interest. You can learn a great deal about sound and lighting if you want, or just enough to help film events if you prefer. We work the best when no one even knows we're there.

Key contributions to MLS:

We film home (and some away) sporting events, run sound and lights for chapel, and set-up/take-down for school concerts. Additional projects include tech support for drama productions, on and off campus banquets/programs, and occasional installation and maintenance of instructional tech support.
