Project Titus – Cary, North Carolina
From July 21-31 we were at Tree of Life Lutheran Church. Five students, Austin King, Megan Schoch, Todd Brassow, Nate Plocher, and Marion Moffett, spent most of their time passing out flyers advertising Tree of Life Lutheran Church. They either put the flyers on doors or handed them directly to the people as they witnessed to their faith and the work of the gospel at Tree of Life. In the time we had we probably visited 2500 homes in the Cary area. We also had the opportunity to spruce up the grounds around the church and clean up the inside of the building. Besides our canvassing and clean-up work, we had the opportunity to go to the ocean, go to the lake for some tubing, go to a Durham Bulls minor league baseball game, and get to know some great people in the congregation. We were all treated like royalty by the members of Tree of Life. It was a great opportunity for our students to be part of the gospel outreach on the east coast. We pray that the Lord will bless our efforts and we pray the Lord of the harvest will continue to bless Pastor Mark Schroeder and the members of Tree of Life.
